Statute on the Regular Visitation – Revised Text (2022)

We wish to draw attention to the revised Statute on the Regular Visitation (2022), which supersedes and replaces the previous version contained in the document Other Statutes (October 2016).

Consequently, the provisions concerning the Regular Visitation in the 2016 compilation are no longer applicable and should no longer be used as a reference.

For all matters concerning the Regular Visitation, reference should henceforth be made to the revised Statute of 2022, published separately on this website. You can download it here.

Timadeuc

On November 1, 2026, the Solemnity of All Saints, Brother Dimitri Le Grand made solemn profession at Timadeuc Abbey (France).

Brother Dimitri was born in Suresnes (France) in 1991. He entered Oelenberg Abbey in 2018 and made his temporary profession there in 2021. When Oelenberg Abbey closed in 2023, he moved to Timadeuc Abbey, where he renewed his temporary profession in 2024 before making his solemn profession on November 1, 2026.

Esmeraldas

On October 17, 2026, Sister Consuelo de los Ángeles Villarreal Zhunio made her Solemn Profession at the Monastery of Our Lady of Esmeraldas (Ecuador).

Sister Consuelo was born in Quito (Ecuador) in 1973; she entered Esmeraldas in 2018 and made her first profession in 2021.

Boschi

On 28 October 2026, the community of Boschi (diocese of Mondovi, Italy) elected Father Giovanni Gazzera as Titular Prior of the Community for an indefinite term.

Dom Giovanni was born in 1969 in Benevagienna (Italy). He entered Boschi in 1994, made his solemn vows in 2000 and was ordained priest in 2012. At the time of his election, he was Superior ad nutum of the community.

Clarté-Dieu

On October 25, 2026, Sister Marie Landrine Rhukenge Mushayuma made her Solemn Profession at the Monastery of Clarté-Dieu (DR Congo).

Sister Marie Landrine was born in Bukavu (DR Congo) in 1995; she entered Clarté-Dieu in 2017 and made her first profession in 2020.

Soke

Yesterday, the sisters of Soke were struck by a severe storm that completely destroyed the roof of their building for welcoming groups. The building includes a meeting hall accommodating more than 100 people, a kitchen, a dining room and toilets. The entire roof must be replaced, and the floor, damaged by falling roofing materials, must also be repaired. Our sisters of Soke would be deeply grateful for any help you can offer. Donations may be sent to the Commission of Solidarity’s account, with the reference “For Soke”. We assure our sisters of our prayers and hope that this appeal for help will be heard.

Sujong

On October 10, 2026, Sister Maria Rafael Arnaiz Jin young Lee made her Solemn Profession at the Monastery of Our Lady of Sujong (Republic of Korea).

Sister Maria Rafael Arnaiz was born in Seoul (Republic of Korea) in 1979; she entered Sujong in 2017 and made her first profession in 2021.
